Started several times to get something written in this blog today and nothing seemed to make any sense. We still don’t have power at the house and we are sleeping at the office, on air filled mattresses on the floor. We travel back and forth between the house and the office for showers, changing clothes, feeding doggies, and miscellaneous things we need to do at one place or the other. Getting out of routine is “discombobulating” to say the least. It’s like having an arm or a leg missing, or being ill and feeling like you can’t do anything because you think you can’t – even though you aren’t ill enough not to do most things. We were told that we may have power back on at the house by Thursday, that will that it has been almost three weeks since IKE hit and the power went off.
Well, enough crying and complaining – if I can’t say anything pleasant or uplifting, I’m not going to say any more, so,
Think Thin Thoughts!
